Breaking a time barrier is a very interesting experience. The lack of sleep, not so much. See, my Wednesday, February 8, 2012:
8am, Wednesday, February 8: wake up
1:20pm, Wednesday, February 8: Get on plane from Nanning to Shanghai.
-2.5 hour flight-
4pm, Wednesday, February 8: Arrive in Shanghai.
5:10pm, Wednesday, February 8: get on plane from Shanghai to Chicago.
-13 hour flight-
5:05pm, Wednesday, February 8: arrive in Chicago.
9:00pm, Wednesday, February 8: get on plane from Chicago to Detroit.
-45 min flight-
11:30pm: arrive in Detroit.
Three plane rides, totaling 16 hours, plus a 4-hour layover in Chicago, plus the time from waking up to my first flight, which was about five hours. Equals over 25 hours. I beat the 24-hour day.
Also, I arrived in Chicago five minutes before I left. That is pretty cool.
So many entries to type up and post, but they can wait a little longer. Quandary: I want to date them for when they actually took place, but then they won't show up on lists. Hm.
