Had a musician speaker at 9:30am,, which was wonderful after getting home around 1:30am with people up and talking and making noise well into the night. Got a little sleep, and I had known this trip would be sleep-deprived, but I had hoped for it to be for more enjoyable reasons overall. Anyway, she was fine, but didn’t seem to know what to do with a big group after telling us a bit about her. Then she sung/played for us.
Afterwards we got to do something really fun though; go to the Tel Aviv artist market. We only had a bit over two hours there, but it was really cool to wander around and see the merchandise. It ranged from beautiful to really bizarre, and I do like seeing art from different places in the world. I didn’t really see much I wanted to buy (a lot of people bought jewelry), but it was fun to just look
We had two speakers after, not worth mentioning, and while I was trapped for the first one, the second I was smart enough to hide in the back of the room. Some others had the same idea, one of whom fell asleep while reading, so I stole her book and it got me through.
The debrief was long and late, which was expected since it was the last night. Paper plate awards (I got a throw-away one, no surprise there), and them upstairs for packing. Almost home, can’t wait.
Let us end with some cool Tel Aviv street art:
